We are the go-to place for first-time and/or young filmmakers looking for an audience and actionable critical feedback.

Home Movie Film Club is a prominent fixture among the film institutions currently gathering in Lagos, with two film clubs operating across Lagos Island and Ikoyi. Introduction.

Originally launched in 2021, it’s been a community centre since its relaunch in mid-2024, bringing budding and experienced filmmakers together and fostering interest in our own cinema-african cinema.

Young Nigerian & African Filmmakers are able to field questions, engage with a new audience, and take away valuable feedback aimed at improving their short films and informing the progress of their film careers.

Our two film clubs provide this access across fiction and non-fiction projects.
